The Challenge

Creative Home Spaces are a loft conversion and renovations company. They had exhausted their network and were looking to find new ways to find more potential clients to help grow their business.

The Solution

The client did not have a logo, so that is where the process began. With all the psychological aspects of a logo considered, the client decided on a blue color and we were able to design multiple concepts which the client then chose from. Once this was complete, we were able to tailor the web design to the logo to make all elements match and make the user experience very easy to any visitors on the website.

With very few revisions, the client was happy to make the website live to start reaching people. The website consists of 5 pages: Home, About, Services, Projects, and Contact. This is everything they asked for and we even integrated a Google Maps to showcase where all the projects were completed so visitors could see if they were in the right area to receive services from Creative Home Spaces.

To get more eyes on the website, the SEO work has begun with on-page SEO being the main priority. Once that was completed, we tailored the keywords and begin creating blogs and backlinks to improve the company’s ranking on Google, to get it to the top of page 1. We also create content and posted on two social media platforms to further increase brand awareness and increase organic traffic to the site. Posting on social media allowed us to highlight the key benefits of the company and to showcase who they really are so that people can have a closer connection to them.

The Result

Creative Home Spaces has got a fresh new look and a platform where people can see their amazing work. It’s also now easy for people to contact them.

SideChef is a cooking app with many useful meal-planning and grocery shopping options. The Problem

How long do you take to decide what to eat, especially when you only have a few ingredients available at home? In such a case, ordering food might be your last resort. Keeping this in mind, our client wanted us to build an app that would help people find and prepare tailored recipes according to their food/dietary requirements and ingredients. In short, they wanted an all-in-one platform that would allow people to shop for in-store products in real-time and learn valuable cooking and culinary skills.

The Solution

To solve this issue, we created a hybrid app that allows people to find customized recipes that can be filtering by diet and other preferences. We incorporated a smart grocery shopping feature through which users can shop for ingredients directly from Walmart and Amazon Fresh. For additional support, the app also has a step-by-step image/video recipe guide and a built-in timer. Users can also share cooking failures and successes, exchange tips, rate recipes, upload photos, and engage with the SideChef community.

Key Features

We implemented the following features into the SideChef app.

  • Over 18,000 step-by-step image or video recipes tailored to specific preferences
  • Filter by dietary requirements, allergies, and/or ingredients you already have at home

Millions of tourists visit Dubrovnik to explore the beautiful architecture, enjoy the fantastic gastronomical offer, and see the places where the world-wide famous tv-show Game of Thrones was filmed. Many people would like to find out a bit more about the destination they are going to. Find excellent restaurants, exciting places in the city to see, or locations of the services they need.

Our client from Law & Technology had an idea to provide everything from above to users even before visiting the city – to motivate them, even more, to come and visit Dubrovnik city. Besides a remote overview, the idea was to provide a tour guide through the most exciting and most famous points in Dubrovnik for tourists.

Challenge

When in Dubrovnik, you can see many tourist groups led by the local tourist guides around the city. A lot of noises can disrupt the experience of the sight-seeing if you miss some important information. There are a few ideas are behind the tourist guide application:

  1. To enable the tourist to explore the city in advance and decide which exciting places to visit and get some basic information about them.
  2. To guide the tourist through carefully, in advance, planned tours around the city, providing them the essential information in written and audio format.
  3. To enable the tourists to explore the city through the application and motivate them to visit Dubrovnik live.
  4. To encourage visitors to explore Dubrovnik more and to earn discounts for restaurants and shops.

 

Solution

MyDubrovnik tourist guide is an iOS and Android application that provides a structured overview of the most exciting places in Dubrovnik, extracted into different tours with readable and audio details in English or Chinese. When the user enters the radius point, the audio track will automatically start and provide a user with all the information about that point that is also available in the description. Every tour and point is enriched with pictures to improve the experiences. This way, the user can see specific details of the buildings and different points of view.

There has been a lot of effort invested into the application’s gamification to provide a fun and challenging experience for users.

There are two ways users can earn special rewards. The first way is by visiting as many places on the tours and collecting points that can later trade for the discounts in restaurants or shops. The second is by downloading and unlocking the MyDubrovnik Game levels to earn new tours in the application.

As we all know, when coming into a new place, it is handy to know all the useful services location and working time, and that is what this application also gives to the users. You can explore the restaurants, bars, hotels, shops, ATMs, post offices, banks, etc.

We worked with the client to understand her business, and we merged the initial concept with everything the Async Labs team knows about mobile tourist apps. We assessed the possible challenges and identified ways to overcome them. Our team established what features go into the product and how they work together. Then we drafted a skeletal framework for the app in the form of wireframes.

When it comes to first impressions, it’s all about design. We put our passion for good design to work. We put all our passion into an excellent design to make an app run smoother. Based on approved wireframes, we designed all screens.

The development process is broken down into sprints based on feature sets. Our agile-based development process allowed our client to review and assess what we’re building regularly. Our Quality Assurance team tested the app after each development sprint, and once all significant functionalities were implemented, we prepared a Beta Build. After passing the Beta Build through a final round of QA and refinements, we had a Release Candidate Build in our hands.

Results

We have successfully implemented the MyDubrovnik Tourist Guide application as a reference point for all the people who are interested in Dubrovnik city. It is to be used by tourists who come to Dubrovnik city to explore the most beautiful places and get all the useful services information. We have enrolled lots of effort into the project during 12 months of development from all our departments to have the quality final result.

MOZE Mobile offers:

• using your parent/student school account to access student’s report cards, attendance, and
schedules
• insight into gradebooks, curriculums, after school activities (ASA)
• updating parental consents, emergency contacts and vehicle information
• easier communication between parents and teachers, as well as teachers and students.

The Challenge

As the school already had a web application, our task was to do UX, UI and develop a mobile version of the application.

The challenge was adapting the API of the web application and communication with the mobile version of the application. The vast majority of activities that existed in the web application also had to work in the mobile version for Android and iOS.

A separate portal for each group of users – parent portal, student portal, admin portal, teacher portal, coach portal.

The Solution

Our approach involved the following steps.

  • We collaborated with clients to increase productivity and get the best design for end users.
  • We facilitated testing (for Android and iOS) using platforms such as Test Flight, which allowed end users and clients to test the program prior to release.
  • We scheduled critical communication for both the product owner and the development team. Before each meeting, we meticulously prepared and offered the discussion topic and demonstration.
  • We reduced the amount of time and effort needed from the client by having an internal conversation to summarize the Q&A, as well as provide follow-up answers to each topic.

The Result

The client was very pleased with the app we developed for them.

The Challenge

Tonic3 collaborated with the city authorities of Buenos Aires, one of the largest cities in South America, to redesign their information architecture and design guidelines.

The Solution

We worked onsite with the client, interacting with executive shareholders and government officials. Using agile methodology, we developed a design system that allows users to explore, find, and enjoy the many online services the city offers. This will drive the next digital transformation of the city’s online presence and user interaction for years.

We began by standardizing design components, which involved creating a design system in Figma. This way, we optimized the UX process and made sure that the entire agile team was aligned.

We worked with the community and stakeholders to understand all the main components, steps of the process, and feedback from current users to list all the components that had to be created and/or migrated into the design system.

Using Agile methodology, we launched the design system that will continue to grow as we keep modernizing the Buenos Aires Portal .

Tonic3 was invited to collaborate with QuarkID. It’s a decentralized, public, open, extensible, and multi-chain protocol that requires no permission and is capable of interoperating with other similar protocols.

In short, we worked with the community and stakeholders to deliver a website and brand guidelines for the project.

The Result

Using Agile methodology, we developed the design system that will drive the next phase of this project.

The Challenge

Ford Canada, which is one of the main sponsors of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team ran into unforeseen problems running their partnership during the pandemic as most of the in-person activations were unexpectedly ended. BitX and Takeaway Reality worked with Cinco, the agency that manages the partnership to deliver a reimagined online dimension to the partnership.

Before the pandemic

Ford was sponsoring the Montreal Canadiens. Previously, the activations focused on activities before and after the matches. This included a high number of in-person activities such as giveaways, stadium experiences, and much more.

The pandemic challenge

In 2020, as the pandemic was gaining momentum it became clear that most of the in-person activations will not be feasible anymore. Cinco as the agency that managed the partnership reacted rapidly and contacted Takeaway Reality and BitX. As experts in the metaverse space, we built a variety of different activations in the space, and we were determined to help Ford and the Canadiens redefine sports partnerships by introducing a new way of watching, interacting, and enjoying the stadium and all of the content inside it.

The Solution – Immersive Web Space

The solution was to create a 360 Immersive web space. We worked on a space that combined a variety of 360 images into a virtual walkthrough of the Montreal Canadiens stadium. The ice rink featured a variety of experiences that the user could interact with. These experiences included AR experiences, as well as games and quizzes. One of the most popular was the virtual item store where users could win real items in a game that allowed them to put virtual copies of real merchandise in their basket. Another experience included an AR view of the Ford Bronco, a walkthrough of the Canadiens locker room, etc.

Dedication to accessibility

The entire experience was created so that it could run on a website. On mobile as well as PCs, laptops, and all other devices that support an internet browser (such as Chrome).
The AR and gamified experiences were all accessible through mobile and/or website ensuring a frictionless user experience.

 

The Result – Further Experiences

It is an understatement that the fan reaction was incredibly positive. The technology part worked smoothly and seamlessly. Cinco created the same concept across the board, the 360 immersive space became a brand, and the architecture was used in other projects later. The users loved the activations and engaged with them far beyond the regular expected times.

Further experiences

Our collaboration with Ford and Cinco extended further to cover the Edmonton Oilers and create an experience for their fans. For the Oilers audience, we collaborated on an experience focused on a 360 view of the Ford Hall in Edmonton.

Video conferencing tools have allowed teams to get together, but have proven to be cumbersome in larger groups. Involving office-based teams in meetings with remote members has become an additional hassle with reduced focus, difficulty sharing materials, and reduced engagement.

The Solution

Holonet is on a mission to facilitate the collaboration of such blended teams by eliminating the current limitations. The solution is an immersive communication and collaboration tool that allows teams to work together regardless of the devices they use and the location where they are based. In simple terms, an organisation that has a team at the office can organise a meeting that will also include colleagues connecting from VR/MR  headsets, laptops, and phones. All of these participants are “equals” and are able to share materials, present, and engage in a more effective and natural way than what is currently offered by typical conferencing tools.

The Results

Holonet is currently successfully being implemented in organisations with dislocated teams working together. The results are improved motivation and participation in meetings as remote participant feel much more involved in the conversations and office-based teams in turn have more of a feeling that their colleagues are actually there with them.

The challenge for MWJ was to create a rebranding solution to take the business to the next level. It was clear from the start that Lena wanted their ambition, know-how and expertise reflected in the way they present themselves in the competitive global tech market.

The Solution

MWJ created a new value proposition for Lena which communicates the clear customer benefits of partnering with Lena. The solution was based on extensive onsite Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for Lena, with MWJ taking over the management and scheduling of Lena’s Google and third-party ads.
